AMS for In-house Hardening Shops

TTC Informatik GmbH offers special version of the AMS software for in-house hardening shops (AMSCHS), specifically tailored to the requirements of these company departments.

In-house hardening shops are just one department within large manufacturing companies. Therefore, they require a customized connection to overarching ERP systems as well as specific functions for the efficient management of goods that are to undergo heat treatment within a manufacturing process. The integration of such a department is often not sufficiently considered in most large ERP systems: this is where the order management system AMS comes into play, taking over the transfer and administration of the hardened goods from the overarching ERP system.

The functions of AMSCHS include among other things, the management of charging and job items, the determination of cost shares, and the seamless transfer to the overarching invoicing within the company. Another central aspect is the permanent assignment and archiving of process documentation, which is crucial for quality management and customer audits. Thanks to the connection to the process control systems (TAM), the monitoring and documentation of the heat treatment processes for the equipment occurs in real-time.

For flexible data exchange with the overarching ERP system (e.g., SAP), powerful interfaces are available to ensure smooth integration.
